Dendrocalamus Asper Bamboo Plant

Asper is a thornless variety and well known for its tender edible shoots. This variety consists of well grown culms which attains the  height of 20 - 30 m with an intermodal length of 20-45. Diameter of the culms is about 8-20 cm with a wall thickness of 2 cm. This variety  is the best for making of incense sticks, Construction and Furniture. This is the most preferred species for making edible products. Bamboo helps Carbon sequestration.
