The Peperomia Obtusifolia is asa Succlant variety of Peperomia, originally found in the rainforests of South America. Also known as the Baby Rubber Plant, it is actually unrelated to the Hevea Bransiliensis, the primary resource of natural rubber. The Peperomia Obtusifolia (or Peperomia Green) is characterized by its thick upright stems with glossy, oversized leaves. It stores water in its thick leaves, which shrivel in drought and plump when water is available. Leaves are typically dark green, but can also have White or yellowthat resembles marbling.
